Luther Quote of the Week

We are reluctant to put up with other people’s frailties and, instead, every one expects every one else to be perfect.

M.L. about Romans 15.1

The Luther500 Festival is an officially recognized event of the Luther-Decade.

Travel to the Festival

The Luther500 Festival will take place in Wittenberg, Germany. This means: you need to get to Germany from wherever God has placed you on this Planet. Put together a group in your local church, your school, your entire church body, or gather your family, and come to Wittenberg! There are several options for your travel to Germany.

By 2013 the new Berlin International Airport BER will be open (we don’t say that’s just for us, but we are thankful anyway). BER will be the main hub for Festival participants - on Monday June 17, 2013 Airport shuttles will connect BER with Wittenberg.

Special offer: Discounted travel with Lufthansa, the official Luther500 Airline

Lufthansa German Airlines offers a comprehensive global route network linking major cities around the world. As the Luther500 Festival airline partner, Lufthansa offers special prices and conditions to Luther500 Festival participants.

To make a reservation, please click on www.lufthansa.com/event-booking_en and enter the access code DEZPXA in the “Access to Event Booking” area. This will open an online booking platform that will automatically calculate the discount offered or provide you with an even better offer if another promotional fare is available. Pop-ups must be enabled otherwise the booking platform window will not open. NOTE: Flights to the Festival can be booked a maximum of 354 days before the Festival!

Tour operators in different countries will offer travels to the Festival. They can book the flight for you and your group (also the Lufthansa Luther500 rates), as well as arrange post-gathering trips.

If you don’t have a group you might just join a group coming from your country. Pastors and group leaders are serving the festival as regional contacts and are happy to put you in contact with a group. See the list “Groups to Join” on the bottom of this page.

From the USA and Canada:

Or add one of the Post Festival Trips to your schedule.
